When did you decide that a career in music was for you?

 

I started singing in college posting videos in my bathroom until a few videos went viral and I just went for it, so glad I did  

 

 

Who are your musical inspirations and why?

 

I love Micheal Jackson, Elvis, dean lewis, Zach Bryson all different genres really 

 

 

Can you tell me 3 things about yourself that people might not already know?

 

I have 4 sister 

Can Sing and beat box at the same time 

I’m scared of dentists

What song of yours best describes you and why?

 

I’d say the song that describes me best is don’t give up by Andy grammar, as no matter what I’ve ran after my dream never quitting 

 

 

What has been the best gig you have done to date and why?

 

The best gig I have ever done was a sold out show in Manchester with around 500 people in a room singing along to my songs, just surreal 

 

 

 

If you could perform a gig at any venue where would it be and why?

 

I would perform at Wembley such a huge venue and so many amazing artist have played there. A boy can dream right haha 

 

 

 

What has been your best achievement to date and what would you like to achieve in the future?

 

My best achievement to date is getting a top 100 on the official charts and telling out a 3 week tour 

 

 

Tell me a story from backstage or after a gig?

 

I played a show and a girl came to see me backstage with a cool personalised jacket for me she had travelled from France just to see my show 

 

 

What do you like best about being a musician and why?

 

I love the freedom of writing songs from the heart and whiles doing so having so many people connect and relate to songs I’ve written 

 

 

 

If you were not in the job you are now what would you be doing?

 

I think I would be doing sports coaching for sure, love football 

 

 

 

What has been the best gig you have been too as a fan and can you tell us about it?

 

The best gig I have been too would be a small dean Lewis show, his support act was Noah Kahan before he blew up! Was class

What would you say is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?

What things make you happy and what things annoy you?

 

My family make me happy, rude people annoy me and of course trolls online haha

 

 

What things do you like to do when you are away from music?

 

I love playing football, going out for meal, walks and playing golf 

 

 

 

Do you think social media and the internet are a good thing in the music industry?

 

They are very important, without this I would not be doing music full time for sure 

 

 

 

How important do you think your look and image is when it comes to being in the music industry?

 

I think imagine is so important, but I’m not willing to change who I am or my imagine for anyone. I am who I am

 

 

 

Can you tell us about any tattoos you have and the significance of them to you?

 

I have a tattoo about gambling, as I used to be a gambling addict but have been clean now 4 years, I have a tattoo of my dog and a music one, and also a London tattoo and my dad when he was a queen guard 

 

 

 

If you run the country for a day what would you change about it and why?

 

If I ran the country I would put my Music on every radio channel and tv show hahaha

 

 

 

What would your ideal day consist of?

 

Getting up going to the gym, writing songs, having some family time finished with evening golf in summer 

 

 

 

If you could say one thing to your fans what would it be and why?

How would you answer the question Who is Nathan Grisdale and what are the differences between you as a music artist and you away from music ?

 

Nathan Grisdale is a local lad from Blackburn with a dream , I am the same with music as real life! My imagine and the way I act is the same 

 

 

 

What was the first record or song you purchased and why?

 

First song I purchased was Elvis can’t help falling in love! What a song and so meaningful 

 

 

 

What would say to someone thinking about becoming a musician and getting into the music industry?

 

It’s very hard don’t think it isn’t, work hard everyday and take those rejections with a pinch of salt! Many will come but it’s how you deal with it and move forward 

 

 

 

If you could collaborate with any other band/singer or musician who would you choose and why?

 

I’d collab with John legend right now! Love his voice and all of me is one of my fave songs ever 

 

 

 

If you could have written one song from history which would it have been and why?

 

I would have written, man in the mirror by Micheal Jackson! What a master piece 

 

 

 

What things make you uncomfortable?

 

 

Big crowds for sure, the Christmas markets petrify me give me bad anxiety do big crowds unless I’m on stage singing I struggle 

 

 

If you wrote a book about yourself what would it have in it?

 

It would be about my life and about how I’ve dealt with so much hate starting off with music, and also would add a lot about tv shows I’ve been on 

 

 

What has the rest of the year got in store for you?

 

The rest of the year is planning for my tour next year and I also have an album coming next year! I can’t wait !! So ready for 2025
